Aki, with Japanese influence has two bedrooms, one of which includes an ensuite, plus an additional study bedroom. The total floor area is 143m². With decking on three sides, this design is ideal for a sloping site. The stump layout has been designed accordingly, with specifications to allow for the north or south side to be up to 2.5 metres off the ground. For ideal orientation, slope should be downhill preferably to the north but can be to the south. Additional drawings provide for a deck along the Southern side which should be used with a South facing slope. Of course there is no reason why this design shouldn't be used on level ground! Whilst stump details for an elevated design are included, your building surveyor may require engineer's computations for your particular site and wind conditions, should you be building on a sloping site. We are able to arrange this for you at extra cost.
