Aquarius

Aquarius, with a floor area of 123m2 another adobe dwelling, is similar to Aries but has three bedrooms, one of which includes an ensuite. There is an office/study area on the North side. Depending on usage, a window could be installed in the hall/office instead of a door. The floor plan shown here is for the skillion roof version, but in the pitch roof version the plan is almost identical.
Plans include: floorplan, slabplan, roofplan, elevations, sections plus construction details, specification sheets which include timber sizing for up to wind category N4, framing designs with detailed dimensioning
.The slab plans offer alternatives for different soil classifications. This design will comply with a five star energy rating for all climatic regions of Victoria except alpine. Comprehensive construction notes are also provided.
Aquarius is available in two versions:
Pitched roof
with a roof pitch of 35 degrees and mudbrick gable ends.
Skillion roof
which has a 3 degree slope. This version is easier to build.
