Taurus

Taurus is the smallest of our clad frame owner builder designs.It has a floor area of 83m². A timber frame dwelling with one bedroom it still provides a comfortable living space.Taurus could be clad in weatherboard, corrugated iron or other suitable material. There is provision in the bathroom for a washing machine and trough, but the pantry could be used as a laundry instead. Window area on the South side is also kept to a minimum.

Plans include: floorplan, slabplan, roofplan, elevations, sections plus construction details, specification sheets which include timber sizing for up to wind category N4, framing designs with detailed dimensioning.The slab plans offer alternatives for different soil classifications. A worksheet for your electrical layout is also included. Comprehensive construction notes are also provided.

Taurus is available in two versions:

Pitched roof

with a roof pitch of 35 degrees and gable ends.

Skillion roof

which has a 3 degree slope. This version is easier to build.
